Happy Halloween!

This year for Halloween the boys wanted to be action characters. Mason chose to be the Red Power Ranger and Logan chose Spiderman. (Thanks for the costumes Nana, the boys loved them).

We walked around our little neighborhood trick or treating. The boys got lots of goodies and were kind enough to even share with Mom, Dad, and Nana.

Nana drove all the way down to watch the boys trick or treat. Here we are taking some funny pics!

Pumpkin Patch

We decided to make the trip to a local pumpkin patch with some friends. There were lots of farm animals for the boys to enjoy. They thought it was funny to watch one of the donkeys down a couple of pumpkins! They also found a few pumpkins that they liked enough to take home. Mason enjoyed pulling them around in a wagon until we were ready to pay.
They boys also enjoyed the corn maze and some of the little farm activities. And best of all we all went to Long Horn Steak house afterwards to enjoy some great food! YUM!

Mason's 1st Field Trip!

Mason had his first preschool field trip yesterday to Peach Tree Farms. One of the most exciting aspects of the whole trip was Mason getting to ride the bus! Logan rides the bus to school every morning, and Mason is always asking to ride. So his dream of getting on the big yellow bus has finally come true. Even though Mason is one of the biggest kids in his class, he had to sit in a car seat on the bus because he is only three. I guess the school goes by age and not by size. It was kind of funny.
After checking out many different pumpkins, he finally picked out "The One."
And here is how he decorated it after returning home.
While at Peach Tree Farms, Mason also enjoyed a hay maze,
a hayrack ride,
feeding the animals,
playing with friends,
and posing for Mommy!

Behold Your Little Ones

We ordered the new nursery manual to use as tool for Family Home Evening. After receiving it in the mail and flipping through it, I'm so excited to put it to use. Prep time for FHE is going to be so short when we use this manual. Each chapter has a short lesson plus a picture and activity to go with it!

Mason, the Male Model

One of my friends works for a local ad agency and emailed saying she needed a preschool age boy for their Halloween photo shoot. And so I agreed to let Mason go ham it up for the camera. He got a free costume out of it (I had nothing to do with the costume, they were all very cute) and a couple of free magazines. I thought his pics turned out really cute. He's our little zoolander! Here are some photos of the magazine article:

It's A Boy!!!

We had our ultrasound Tuesday, and yes we are having another boy! We are all very excited, even Logan and Mason, who had both previously asked for a baby sister. So far everything looks good. The ultrasound tech measured baby Colton's head and said that it's average in size. However, I think with a little more time, his head will end up like our other boys, abnormally large! HaHa and Ouch! Anyways, here are some pics of our little guy over the last few weeks.

He's already so cute, we can't wait to meet him in person and shower him with kisses!
